There’s a quiet revolution happening in office buildings, schools, hospitals and shopping centres across Australia. It’s not about flashy tech or cutting-edge software... it’s in the cleaning cupboard. For decades, “clean” meant strong-smelling sprays, harsh chemicals, and safety gloves. But what if true cleanliness didn’t require any of that? At Cleancorp, we’re proving it doesn’t. By using Tersano’s game-changing Stabilised Aqueous Ozone (SAO) technology, we’re helping businesses clean smarter - with zero harmful chemicals, less waste, and better results. If your business is chasing ESG goals, wants to create a safer space for staff, or simply hates the smell of bleach, this post is for you. ![using tersano in office cleaning](https://blog.cleancorp.com/hs-fs/hubfs/using%20tersano%20in%20office%20cleaning.webp?width=650&height=650&name=using%20tersano%20in%20office%20cleaning.webp) ## What Problem Does Tersano Solve? - **Health & safety risks:** Traditional cleaning products can trigger allergies, respiratory issues, and skin irritation. - **Environmental harm:** Chemicals wash into waterways and add plastic waste from packaging. - **Inefficiency:** Managing multiple products, training, PPE, and compliance adds cost and complexity. ## Why Chemical-Free Cleaning Matters for Your Business - Enhances indoor air quality - Protects employee and customer health - Demonstrates sustainability leadership - Helps meet compliance (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, HACCP) - Reduces overall cleaning costs ##  How Tersano Works: Science in Action Tersano’s Stabilised Aqueous Ozone (SAO) technology turns tap water into a powerful, non-toxic cleaner by infusing it with an extra oxygen molecule (O₃). This forms aqueous ozone—50% stronger than bleach, yet completely safe. - **It cleans, sanitises and deodorises** in one go. - **Reverts to water and oxygen**, leaving no residue. - **Approved by HACCP and TGA** for use in high-risk areas like healthcare and food services. ## Cleancorp’s Use of Tersano in Action - No harsh smells or irritants - Eliminates up to 93% of traditional cleaning chemicals - Reduces packaging waste by up to 80% - Cuts training and PPE requirements - Ideal for high-touch areas: lifts, bathrooms, kitchens ## Real-World Results ### **Redland City Hospital** According to In-Tec, the official distributor of Tersano, Redland City Hospital **saved 78,000 L of chemicals since February 2015.** The shift to SAO technology eliminated 78,000 L of traditional cleaning chemicals at Redland City Hospital as reported by the manager of operational support services. ### **Havencab Property Group** Havencab, recognised as the first Australian company to roll out Tersano’s lotus PRO system, reported a **93% reduction in chemical use** across their operations. They describe their lotus PRO technology as transforming ordinary tap water into a powerful, eco‑friendly cleaner that dramatically reduces chemical dependency. ## Steps to Switch to Sustainable Cleaning 1. **Review** your current cleaning process. 2. **Identify** chemical-heavy areas (bathrooms, kitchens). 3. **Pilot** Tersano in one section of your site. 4. **Train** staff with help from Cleancorp. 5. **Measure** savings: time, chemicals, packaging, and staff feedback. ## Quick Checklist: Is Tersano Right for Your Business? | Question | Yes/No | | --- | --- | | Do you want to reduce chemical exposure for staff/clients? |   | | Are you aiming for greener, safer cleaning practices? |   | | Is compliance with ISO, HACCP or TGA important to you? |   | | Would you like to lower packaging and supply costs? |   | | Do you need a simpler, all-in-one solution for your sites? |   | ## Ready to Clean Smarter?
